Avenches’ fine sandy beach is nestled in the heart of a protected natural area, with a stunning view of the AOC Vully and is perfect for relaxation.

Avenches’ gently sloping, sandy beach boasts a fine swimming area with floating docks and diving boards, a protected natural area and an exceptional panorama on the AOC Vully; making this top retreat for summer relaxation an absolute must for families. A beach volleyball court and a children’s playground are nearby for swimmers and sports enthusiasts. A restaurant, grocery store, cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and crepes are on hand for a light fare or a leisurely meal.

We remind users that grilling is not allowed on the public beach.
