La Sauge, an open window on the nature. The natural reserves on the North-East end of the Neuchâtel Lake are a sanctuary for the unique wildlife of Switzerland.
Many rare and endangered species of birds reproduce themselves there or stop by on migrating periods or during the winter. The centre makes a large public aware of the natural resources of the area.
Its main objectives are to convince the people of the importance of the natural environments, to create new habitats favourable to the wildlife, and specially to the green tree frog and the kingfisher.
