The association La Compagnie Équestre & Musicale is staging its first ‘Equestrian Concert’, combining musical, literary and equestrian aesthetics.
An orchestra of 13 talented local professional musicians will perform the ballet piece Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland (1900-1990).
Horses and their riders will dance to this multi-faceted piece, first solo and then as a group.
To create an elegant link between these two worlds, Valais author Christine Savoy has crafted a text inspired by the composer's music for this creation, which will be narrated by the much-coveted Éric Constantin.

5.30pm Opening of the riding hall
6.30pm Start of the Equestrian Concert, Presentation of the Franches-Montagnes foals
